The Holy Land, 1191. RASHID AL-DIN, a Muslim trader is taken prisoner after a small skirmish 3 miles north of Acre. His life is spared by SIR ROGER DE SANDFORD of the Templar order (a military order within the Christian army of God), leader of a small unit of Templar soldiers. SIR ROGER's leadership is being questioned. SIR ROGER and RASHID form an unlikely and unique bond despite the religious barrier between them. SIR ROGER decides to help RASHID escape to perilous results for both himself and RASHID.
