Crash (2017)

In the middle of the night an exhausted mother tries endlessly to put her baby to sleep. During these attempts she witnesses a hit-and-run accident between an SUV and a parking car. As the SUV leaves the scene she memorizes its license number and attaches a note on the bent car, adding her phone number in case a testimony is needed. But then the SUV comes back, and the driver gets a hold of her note. In a dark night a man and a woman confront each other. He's the outlaw and she's the Sheriff, and their encounter inevitably becomes a crash.
