Bye Victoria (2017)

Pini (34), a man suffering from low self-esteem and a broken body and soul, makes it all the way to Kiev from the peripheries of Israel in order to buy a bride. Believing that there's no such thing as free and unconditional love he tells himself that it's better to pay for a woman than to be alone. Victoria (36), the pretty yet cynical matchmaker, sits alongside Pini in order to translate (but mostly to manipulate) the awkward conversations between the potential 'husband and wife'. Pini and Victoria are so jaded by the impossibility of true love that they are blind to the real connection that they have with one another.
