The Struggle

A coming of age narration of three siblings - Russ, Deezal and Keisha - enduring the struggling to survive while battling the hardships of poverty. The film follows the trio as they live with (and without) a neglectful, drug addicted mother; absent fathers and volatile situations - fending for themselves on the city streets of Houston, Texas. The Struggle brings to life the challenges that people go through while clutching to the rails on a wild emotional brutal roller coaster ride of emotional states provoking you, the viewer, to wonder if a rose can really grow from concrete.
