Amina Rasul wants to hide every aspect of being a minority as best she can. With the help of her grandmother and two Muslim sisters, Amina is able to redefine her look and represent her culture and religion with confidence. This film exposes a different aspect of the American identity. Too often are we presented the with the same story line, structure and theme with generally the same characters. Undefined tells the story of the unconsidered view, in order to bring us closer together as a society. We fear the unknown, so let's get to know each other. Amina goes for a job interview hoping she can just get by, by shying into the background. Her grandmother quickly calls her on that ridiculous notion demanding that she express her Islam as well as her African-American identity. After efforts to hide, Amina is approached by two beings who share a similar situation, Azin and Aya. These beings help Amina overcome her grandmothers passing and represent her Islam in her own way.
