Essie patiently awaits her and her grandfather's turn to go up and talk for Career Day. Her Grandfather, Glen, is a retired firefighter, and he's not very good at this kind of thing. But he does his best, teaching the children everything from surviving a fire to extravagant ways to start one. But all good things must get complicated, and of all the times to have the past resurface, Glen didn't expect now.
