Payphone (2014)

"Payphone" follows the story of a young Asian American, who one day comes across some special coins that enable him to teleport to different locations. As he has no control over where he goes, he struggles to find his way back home. "Payphone" depicts the out-of-place feeling that Asian Americans often have because of the "perpetual foreigner" stereotype and our bicultural identity. If you've ever experienced that feeling of being lost, of not finding a home, of aimlessly roaming around the world with so much fear and insecurity as an Asian American, this movie is for you.
