Growing Up African (2018)

"You are not American, you are African" is what Junior's mother constantly tells him. At school his forms say, "Please check the box next to the race that represents you Caucasian, Hispanic, Native American, Black or Other". His family thinks he is one thing while society doesn't seem to have a box he can check so Junior plays different roles at different times. Things get interesting when both worlds are destined for intersection and Junior fights to prevent this.
