Josie, a gum-smacking Bronx accent bearing side-ponytail sporting teen, thinks house sitting will be an easy paycheck. However, after her boyfriend visits for a tryst in a stranger's house, strange sounds bellow up from the basement. Compelled by male ego, he ventures a look and seals his fate. From the previously dust-coated coffin held within Van Helsing's basement emerges the vampire icon Dracula to wreak havoc. However, his plot of revenge turns on its head when he converts the wrong group of women to recover his coven. In a very self aware film both appreciative and satirical of its influences, Dracula's Coffin forges a palette of neon, nostalgia, and blood to paint a Dracula boasting, in turns, both terror and laughs.
