Aparupa (1983)

Rama has to live away from her husband, Joy after their marriage as he works in Hongkong. Rama helps her friend Sutapa, when she gets pregnant out of the wedlock. Rama's in-laws think that Rama is having an affair. After the birth of Sutapa's daughter, she flees leaving her daughter with Rama. Rama is abandoned by her family and in-laws. She goes to her ex-boyfriend, who is dying. When Joy hears this news, he is shattered. He meets Sutapa in Hongkong, who is looking for her boyfriend. He helps her, when she is in trouble. The misunderstanding clears when the three of them reconnect and Joy and Rama get back together.
