The Sex Pistols was initially booked to do a show at Jarlateatern, Stockholm, on Februari 21, 1977. Produced by Skivfabriken. Their fee SEK 6 000:-. They canceled this deal for two reasons - the bass player Glen Matlock got inexplicably fired and they got an instant hit with "God Save the Queen". To play Stockholm Malcolm McLaren now asked for three times the original agreement. The Sex Pistols eventually arrived in Stockholm to do two short gigs. Eleven songs in all. Sveriges Radio recorded the second show, July 28, and Neonmagasinet a report with interviews of fans of punk music.
