A Veil Between (2022)

A woman named April struggles with the temptations of life and has a near death experience. She returns and shares her knowledge with a group of young women in need. This is a lighthearted tale, in which April undergoes the rites of passage. She must come to accept her Mother's passing, while trying to prove an out-of-body experience to her skeptical therapist, while staying off the radar of her militaristic house manager. After all, don't we all wish to be believed in extraordinary circumstances? April must find a way to accept her Mom's death, to release her from an endless cycle of pain.
