Danial is a talented pottery maker from the north of Iran. A teenager, Danial has grown up without his father, who died in the Iran-Iraq War, and whose identity he often tries to inject into his art. One day he makes a vase and sends it into a competition under his father's name, but when it wins the top prize, questions are raised about the identity of the artist when the man tied to it has been dead for years. As Danial tries to keep the memory of his father alive, he also must come to terms with the truth of his situation in this loving drama about the psychology of letting go.
