Broken Things (2018)

Malcom has known Cooper all his life. They practically grey up together. The only problem is, Cooper doesn't exist. In addition, he's not a very nice guy. Malcom begins to strain against Cooper, who seems to be twisting Malcom to achieve his own desires. He's got his hands on Malcom's neck and nearly controls his life. When Malcom meets Pfeiffer, however, everything changes. The two click and Malcom begins to go his separate way from Cooper, who will have none of it. Cooper makes it his goal to tear the two apart, tormenting Malcom until he can no longer stand it. Malcom finally breaks it to Pfeiffer that he has this sadistic voice in his head, and she vows to help him defeat it.
