Barnen från Jordbro (1996)

In this remarkable documentary, director Rainer Hartleb follows a primary school class from their first day in school at the age of 7, and a few years on. They live in Jordbro, a suburb south of Stockholm which was recently built. Their parents are mostly blue-collar workers, with no earlier ties to Jordbro. What dreams do they have for their children - and what dreams do the children themselves have?
