New York, New York (1977)

On V-J Day in 1945, amidst New York City's jubilant celebrations, a self-centered saxophonist, Jimmy Doyle, meets singer Francine Evans. Though Francine initially rebuffs Jimmy's advances, circumstances draw them together. Their partnership begins when an impromptu duet at an audition secures them a gig. As their careers rise, so do tensions in their tumultuous relationship, marred by Jimmy's volatile behavior and their emotional struggles.
