Sidney Shorr: A Girl's Best Friend (1981)

A well-to-do gay gentleman in his 50's, Sidney Shorr, befriends a troubled single mom and her young daughter in Central Park. Their friendship gradually grows, and eventually he takes the two under his wing and into his home.
