Cocoon (1985)

This curious film tells the story of a group of elderly people who discover 'the fountain of youth' which is nothing more than a pool where a group of aliens hide their source of energy. As these retirees begin to experience a new vitality, they are faced with the desire to hold on to a new hope for life and form a bond with the aliens. This film by Ron Howard, with a cast of veteran performers, combines comedy, science fiction and fantasy and results in a memorable adventure.
