A man and a woman have sex inside of the shoe-shaped cottage. In a matter of minutes, the man touches her breasts for pleasure.

The film sets in the Japanese occupation. Violence is severely depicted.

A man shoots an injured Japanese soldier in the falls. After that, he rips his neck with his bare hands. Blood is shown.

Many scenes depict characters smoke either in cigars or cigarettes.
