Say Anything (1989)

A few conversations about sex throughout.

A teenage boy and girl are spooning in bed together, and appear to be topless although they are substantially covered, implying sex. There is no nudity and it is brief.

There is no nudity in this film. There are a couple of scenes depicting two teenagers kissing and embracing in the back seat of a car. In both scenes the girl is wearing a loose tank top. In one scene, the guy comes close to holding the girl's breast. In another scene, it is implied that the boy and girl have had sex. We do not see anything resembling sex happening, though.

A teenage girl lays in bed and her nipples can be made out through her light shirt.

We are told that a teenage girl tried to kill herself because of a boy, implied unrequited love.

People are seen practicing martial arts fighting.

A man spars with another man in a gym, and he gets kicked in the face. He falls over, and his nose bleeds.

A lead male character is the designated key holder at a party, and decides to drive a party member home, rather than let him drive himself home. He drinks one beer with the implication that one beer is not enough to get him drunk.

Several male characters smoke cigarettes. Incongruously, Diane, Sheila, Corey, Evans, and Rebecca do not smoke.

Teenagers are depicted drinking alcohol at a party and getting drunk. Kegs are referenced and shown. The two main characters, however, are not shown getting drunk.
