Dinner at Eight (1989)

A wry, insightful comedy of manners in which somewhat dizzy society matron Millicent Jordan arranges a dinner party to honor some visiting aristocrat while remaining oblivious to her husband's health and financial problems as well as her daughter's feelings and emotions.
