Soldadito español (1988)

Francisco is a modest musician who marries Luisa, a young member of a family with a deep military tradition. This circumstance forces him to join the band of his local regiment. His eighteen-year-old son Luis provokes the indignation of the family, since he not only does not want to follow his father's job as a musician, but also refuses to perform the mandatory Spanish military service. However, pressure from parents and grandparents, who fear that Luis will be declared a fugitive, force the boy to accept, a decision that will have unforeseeable consequences.
