Scrooged (1988)

In a contemporary spin on "A Christmas Carol," Bill Murray plays Frank Cross, a successful but heartless TV executive who has pushed away his one true love, Claire Phillips (Karen Allen). After firing a colleague on Christmas Eve, Frank encounters a series of ghosts who challenge him to reevaluate his life choices and make amends for past wrongs.
