Berdel (1990)

The father of a traditional Anatolian family attempts to force his eldest child to comply his wishes and get married with a senior man in order to have this man's younger sister as his second wife as an archaic eastern Anatolia tradition called "berdel". The events aftermath become devastating for all of the members of his family, ruining alongside the man's honor in his own community.
