Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)

Buffy, a cheerleader at her school, has diverse interests. However, her everyday teenage world takes an incredible turn when a strange man informs her that it is her destiny to become a vampire slayer. With the help of a rebellious and romantic friend, Buffy dedicates her nights to protecting the city of Los Angeles from the king of the vampires. An entertaining and enjoyable horror comedy, with screenplay by Joss Whedon, who would later create the successful and acclaimed TV series of the same name.
