Burgess Meredith narrates this exhaustive documentary of filmmaker Otto Preminger, an iconic producer, director, and actor, whose career spanned the Golden Age in Hollywood in the 40s to the international movie scene of the 70s. Scenes from classic films like "Laura," Anatomy of a Murder," "Exodus," and "Advise and Consent" are shown along with such co-workers as Saul Bass, Vincent Price, Deborah Kerr, Michael Caine, Frank Sinatra, and James Stewart. Over a long career Preminger managed to maintain his artistic integrity as well as push the limits of censorship and the Hollywood Backlist.
