Healer (1994)

About elderly people and the contrasts between children who neglect their aging parents and those who sacrifice themselves completely to the cause. An ex-con paroled to an ambulance service at the local hospital, where he must work out the last year of his sentence and his partner, a cynical paramedic. During their adventures they encounter various people involved in the stories about elderly parents.
