Die Nacht der Nächte (1995)

Senta Berger plays Teresa, a businesswoman about to turn 50, married to a lawyer and with a student daughter. The marriage is already a little worn out, the daughter is stubborn and the husband insensitive. When she also pinches her sciatic nerve, her mood gets even worse and she ends up canceling her long-planned annual birthday party. When all sorts of things go wrong, she leaves their apartment without further ado and runs into a wild adventure with pimps, professional gamblers and a suitcase full of money.
