The Day the Sun Turned Cold (1994)

Based on real events in China 1988, a son (Chung-Hua Tao) has to come to terms with the implications of informing that his mother (Gaowa Siqin) may have murdered his father ten years ago to police, a crime that will undoubtedly carry the death sentence.
