Hey Arnold! (1996)

In a city reminiscent of Brooklyn, 9-year-old Arnold, a daydreaming, jazz-loving fourth-grader with a football-shaped head, navigates everyday life. Living in a multicultural boarding house with his quirky grandparents and eccentric boarders, Arnold embarks on adventures with his best friend Gerald, the coolest kid in class and keeper of urban tales. All the while, he is secretly admired by Helga, who torments him to hide her true feelings.
