Barb Wire (1996)

Set in a futuristic universe, the story revolves around Barb Wire, a nightclub owner who takes a job as a mercenary in the only free city in the USA where fascism does not reign. Barb becomes embroiled in a secret plot involving biological weapons and is reunited with an old love with a different present. Starring Pamela Anderson, this thriller based on Chris Warner's comic book gained attention over the years, even though it was a critical and box-office flop upon its release.
