Dinner and Driving (1997)

Jason, an English teacher and struggling writer, has been dating his girlfriend Laura for three years now and feeling that it's time to make a commitment, they decide to get married. But the factors as well as bad advice from their parents, siblings and friends put a cloud of gloom on the couple, which gets more complicated with the arrival of Grace, Jason's former girlfriend from high school, which threatens to destroy the engagement and life between him and Laura for good.
