L.A. Confidential (1997)

Set in Los Angeles during the 1950s, the film tells the story of three detectives who try to solve a series of murders linked to a prostitution ring frequented by Hollywood moguls. In addition, other implicated suspects are uncovered that reach as far as the Police Department: a veil of suspicion wraps up everyone involved. The film is considered an exponent of the neo-noir style, it has a fascinating plot and an impeccable cast, where Kim Basinger won the Oscar for her performance.
