Shrek (2001)

Shrek is an ogre who lives comfortably in his swamp until the place is invaded by different fairytale creatures who have been expelled from their kingdom by the evil Lord Farquaad. Meanwhile, Shrek only wants to restore peace in his swamp, so he agrees to a deal in which he agrees to rescue a princess who has been kidnapped in a castle. Shrek expects it to be a simple matter, but will it be? Witty, acid and funny, the Shrek universe is launched with this first instalment that appeals to all ages.
