Paulie (1998)

In an American institute, Russian janitor Misha befriends a talking parrot named Paulie. Paulie recounts his journey from a gift to a stuttering girl named Marie, to various owners, and his quest to reunite with her. Along the way, he faces betrayal and captivity in the institute, where he discovers a deceitful plan. With Misha's help, Paulie escapes and sets out to find Marie.
