Paul Beldere is a guest on the estate of nouveau rich businessman King Holcomb and his daughter Sylvia. They had first met him years earlier when, working as an Apache dancer in a Paris den, he had saved the two of them from attack and robbery by denizens of the dive. Paul later became the sole heir of a wealthy family, and met them again on the steamship when they were returning home. Another guest, a phony styling himself the Count de Lyons, conspires in the theft of Sylvia's valuable heirloom diamond necklace, and tries to cast the blame on Paul. When his plot is unmasked, he takes off for a hideout at the beach, with Paul and Sylvia giving chase. At the hideout, Paul is overcome by De Lyons' gang, who kidnap Sylvia. After a wild motorboat chase around Los Angeles Harbor, Paul eventually catches up with the gang atop a cliff, where, after a vigorous battle with the gang members, he beats them all up, recovers the necklace, and rescues Sylvia for a happy clinch at the fade-out. This film was pretty dated even for its period, but there's a lot of action.
