Saved by Radio (1922)

Philip Morton comes to Beauport, a fishing village under the exclusive control of Dr. Stafford, with the secret intention of tricking the doctor into releasing some land. Hoping to marry Mary Stafford, Morton causes the doctor to fire her sweetheart, John Powell. Morton then hires Spike Jones and his gang to kidnap the doctor and force him to sign over the land. John is suspected and jailed, gets out of jail, and scales a cliff to Jones's hideout. The gang escapes but is captured by men John calls for by radio.
