Dance Hall Hostess (1933)

Nora Marsh, a dance-hall hostess, marries a rich mama's-boy boozer, Patrick Gibbs, although she really loves another man, Jerry Raymond, who is serving jail-time for bootlegging. Raymond is released from jail and, shortly afterward, Nora's alcoholic husband turns up dead, under suspicious circumstances. The sheriff suspects Nora and Raymond killed Gibbs.
