Melody of a Great City (1943)

A Village girl, and passionate photographer takes a snap of a rare event, landing of a rare plane in a rally. The snaps are taken by a journalist, who was a celebrated photographer himself, and her idol. The photo graces the cover page of the Journal, and hopeful, she goes to Berlin, in search of fame. There she is brought to earth, by her idol himself, and advised to go back. Despite being rejected by all the news houses, with help of a Casanova photographer of one of the magazines, who supplies her with the raw materials, and advises, she persists. Finally her photos get recognition, when the owner of the journal per-chance comes across them. She gets the fame and also the attention of her idol. But her love isn't reciprocated, since he has only time for work, not for love, and in addition, he travels out of country on assignments, for months together. He makes her to part way. While he is away, she reaches the very pinnacle, but keeps on pining for him, despite knowing the futility. And now she herself is so busy, that their free times won't fall together, unless..
