The Burning Question (1943)

A young legal secretary gets pregnant by an immoral seducer she doesn't love. An older medical professor hears about her problem and decides to help her with an abortion. When the abortion is discovered by authorities, the professor is arrested and brought to trial, arousing great interest throughout the country,
