A drama about Anna Lans, a young beautiful girl born into a poor croft family. When her father wants to marry her off to one of the area's farmers, she travels to her sister in Stockholm instead. There, Anna gets a job with Baroness Löwenfeldt and her son Harry. Anna falls in love with Harry and the two live luxury lives until the baroness drives her to the gate.
