The Brute (1953)

In a poor community in 1950s Mexico, landlord Andrés Cabrera wants to evict his tenants to demolish the buildings and sell the land for serious profit, but community leader Carmelo González resists to his attempts. Andrés hires strong slaughterhouse worker Pedro El Bruto to intimidate the dwellers, and his wife Paloma sexually harasses Pedro. Pedro goes to the community at night and attacks weak Carmelo, who bleeds to death. When Pedro meets Carmelo's daughter Meche, he falls in love with her and and she moves into his house, but jealous Paloma does not want to give up on Pedro.
