The World of Apu (1959)

Apu, a former student from Calcutta, who dreamed of becoming a writer, puts aside his desire due to a lack of financial resources. One day, an old college friend invites him to his cousin's wedding in a small town. Upon arrival, the ceremony is abruptly interrupted when the groom loses his mind.
