High and Low (1963)

Kingo Gondo, a wealthy executive, is on the brink of taking over National Shoes. He plans to save the company from executives pushing for cheap, disposable products and instead focus on durable, stylish footwear. However, just before finalizing his plan, Gondo receives a ransom demand for his kidnapped son. He soon discovers the kidnappers mistakenly took his chauffeur's son instead, leaving Gondo torn between saving the boy's life or securing his business future.
