Based on the novel by Charles Webb, it follows the story of Benjamin, a recent college graduate who feels disillusioned and uncertain about his future despite having received a privileged education. He becomes involved in a complicated love triangle involving a married woman, Mrs. Robinson, and her daughter Elaine. The film is famous for its iconic soundtrack with songs by Simon & Garfunkel that complete the story, as well as being a classic with one of the most powerful endings in film history.
