Michalios of the 14th Regiment (1962)

By a twist of fate, Michalios Karamichalis, a guileless peasant with a heart of gold, is summoned to do his part in the prestigious and demanding Hellenic Special Forces. Now, instead of his first cousin, with whom he shares the same name, Michalios must endure rigorous training to become a member of the elite division; however, his efforts are fruitless. As a result, the unit's strict commander, Colonel Karadimos, entrusts Michalios to keep an eye on his beloved only daughter, Mary, who is secretly in love with one of her father's officers, Captain Tasos. And, before long, Michalios, who can't say no to anyone, will find himself neck-deep in trouble. What happens if Karadimos discovers what compassionate Michalios of the 14th Regiment has been up to behind his back?
