Zero for Conduct (1949)

Madly in love with the beautiful final-year student and daughter of the village's mayor, Bilio, the handsome young fisherman, Fotis, finds out that the community's teacher, Platon, too, is head-over-heels in love with her. As the news of Platon's scandalous behaviour spreads like wildfire, his dismissal is inevitable; however, all is fair in love and war. As a result, love-smitten Platon plucks up the courage to take matters into his own hands and sets in motion an audacious scheme in the name of love. Will his plan bear fruit?
