Das Geheimnis einer Nacht (1915)

When the banker Carlton is holding an overnight business meeting, he receives an urgent phone call. At the other end of the line is a bloodcurdling scream heard, whereupon Carlton assumes that something terrible must have happened to his wife. However, at home he finds his wife bright and cheerful. Carlton wants to investigate this mysterious matter.
