A Knight in... Sandals (1968)

Always willing to lend a helping hand, sadly, the kind-hearted countryman, Grigoris Trechadiris, instead of making a better future for himself in Athens, he can't keep a job for more than a few days. Head-over-heels in love with the impecunious seamstress, Margarita, Grigoris has to come up with a winning strategy to start making money, and before long, his photographer friend, Arsenis, visits him with an equally beneficial business proposal. Now, Grigoris has to do what he does best, slip into the traditional attire of his village, and pose for tourists in Acropolis as an Evzone. Will the gallant knight in tsarouchia finally see his dream come true?
