Boom Taratatzoom (1972)

Determined to make a name for themselves even if it kills them, struggling wandering thespians Vlako and Ponirides arrive in Avdira, ready to eat a horse. The actors have heard that a famous poet is about to put on a show, and desperate for a lucky break, the newcomers prepare to meet him. However, the penniless performers are unaware that the city's authoritarian ruler, Hippias, and harmless Vlako are like two peas in a pod. As the ambitious actor accepts a high-stakes deal to overthrow the hated tyrant, sinister conspiracies threaten his future. But now, there is no turning back; Vlako must face the consequences of his aspirations. And the question remains. Will the companions survive the dangerous waters of politics?
